Description
The Bliesma T34B-$ is an beryllium tweeter which offers an upgrade over the already brilliant T34A-4. The predecessor was a game changer for tweeters, with it’s 34mm dome, 3mm excursion, wide dispersion and extremely linear frequency response. The new tweeter takes those base features and builds on them. There is even more sensitivity on offer as the moving mass is now even lower thanks to the beryllium dome so exceptional transient response is guaranteed. The new dome is much stiffer than the previous model meaning that it’s pistonic behaviour is superior, pushing the breakup mode well past 30Hz with linearity out to 25Khz, all with exceptional distortion and dispersion. It’s still an easy to use driver that can be used safely down to around 1.3kHz. That makes it a driver without parallel. Theses drivers opens up the possibilities to use higher efficiency more dynamic 8 inch woofers in partnership instead of the usual 6+1 and designs will follow on these pages for you to build. Even though the driver has great lower frequency response it still has an exceptional high frequency response too, better than a lot of smaller tweeters, linear out past 25 kHz with the first break up mode out to 30 kHz
