Description
Features
MarkAudio-SOTA loudspeakers are built from the ground up, including the cabinets, crossovers and speaker drivers. Many manufacturers choose off-the-shelf components that aren’t always a perfect match to their system design targets, MarkAudio-SOTA, purists by engineering standards, build their components to precisely match the specific design characteristics of the speaker systems.
ALL-RANGE DRIVER APPROACH
MarkAudio-SOTA’s unique all-range approach offers the rich midrange that is typical of a wide-range single speaker design, while providing a full frequency range extending from 90Hz to 25kHz, and the high-impact dynamics of more typical multi-way speakers. Using an advanced 50mm Sota 5 all-range driver, its low mass mixed-alloy cone provides superior transparency and detail.
SYMMETRICAL SOUND FIELD
MarkAudio-SOTA uses its own symmetrical technology. The dual, wide dispersion, shallow-profile cone drivers replace conventional cone-woofer and dome-tweeter combinations. With their matched dispersion and output characteristics, along with a minimal crossover slope, the two custom-made Sota drivers provide an audibly seamless integration between high and low frequencies. This integration results in a smooth, natural output and soundstage that affords a wider range of seating positions, allowing several people to hear a top quality performance at one time.
ADVANCED CABINET ENGINEERING
Tozzi One is constructed from three rigid sub-structures. They are made from a composite of Acrylonitrile-Butadiene- Styrene with reinforcing fibres. These can be produced to exceptional tolerances, have a long service life and are cosmetically attractive. The front and central sub-structures are precision aligned and bonded to create a stable primary assembly. The rear panel is then mechanically secured, completing the structure.

Tozzi Two. Rose Gold. 3+ yrs now. other equipment NAD M10 V1, REL T5i.
Yes, the speakers were the items I bought first, I wanted full range, single driver near field monitors. looked at EJ Jordan drive units and Eclipse TD range. I have previously had 4 panel full range electrostatics. The reviews, (when they were £1100 a pair!) interested me, and seemed to cover most of my requirements.
The price, at less than 1/3rd of the reviewed suggested, interested me even more.
When auditioning the other equipment (Naim, Quad, Cambridge Audio Edge), all commented, niche product, boutique, and tried to steer me to KEF and others, but, kept swapping back and suggested the addition of a sub. The best comment was that, that they could not get anywhere near the sound quality at the combined price, and with considerably larger floor standers, and that was with the RELT7i. They started, listening out of curiosity, and not a little scepticism, but continued listening because of the sound quality.
The next test. System set up in lounge, all cables hidden, my wife invited in to view the system, ” Ok, where is it?”, exactly, the finish blended in so well, that it became almost invisible. The service and advice from KJF was exemplary.

The Tozzi Two are a fantastic pair of speakers with a neutral transparent sound that is musical, engaging and tonally accurate. These were selected for their flat frequency response and low mass single-driver-single-suspension concept and do not disappoint. The shallow cone profile and symmetrical waveguide allow natural imaging and a wide sound dispersion. The aluminium-ABS enclosure is high quality, very rigid and has reassuring weight to it. Gold-plated banana plug contacts at the back is great, along with a bass port to slightly increase bass extension. Bass extension is respectable but limited. However, these could be blended with a pair of bass woofers such as the CHR-120 (which have a similar cone profile) with simple crossovers to produce an incredible full-bandwidth system.
My pair cost £410 altogether; I was so impressed that I bought a second pair. Applicable for both musical enjoyment and critical listening; I use Graham Slee Proprius monoblocks for speaker amplification and the result is professional studio-standard sound for nearfield desktop listening, in my opinion. Thank you Mark Fenlon for producing this product at an affordable price point.
