Speaker Drivers

Speaker drivers and transducers are the most important part of the whole audio signal chain. They are the component that reacts electrically to the signal that is fed to them which in turn interacts acoustically with the cabinet they are in and then the room that cabinet is in. Building you own DIY speakers with these components will give you a speaker that is optimally built for both of these. That is hugely important because it means with a little skill and knowledge you can build a system that is truly tailored to your own needs rather than the broad user base that an off the shelf speaker designer has to account for.
