Full range drivers offer the opportunity to get as close to the ideal point source as possible. With all frequencies radiating from as close to the same source in space as possible, the comb filtering between drivers in a multi-way is eliminated. The phase non-linearities associated with crossover networks are likewise eliminated. The result is a spacious ‘walk around’ sound that produces astounding cohesiveness.
